Dan is an attorney and wealth management professional with more than 30 years’ experience building, leading and growing global personal fiduciary businesses for industry leaders including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup.
He began his career in 1983 as a corporate lawyer with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York, and has broad and deep expertise in law, financial planning, multi-generational transfer planning, trust and estate administration and philanthropy.
A cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College, Dan received his law degree from Vanderbilt University’s School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He is admitted to the New York State bar. Dan is known as a faithful fiduciary and trusted steward, a values-driven individual and good listener whose advice and discretion have been appreciated by individuals and families of significant wealth through multiple market cycles and across generations. He has a long history of service on corporate and non-profit boards and professional organizations.
For sport, Dan enjoys fly-fishing (angling), mostly to the entertainment of the fish.
